Quite simply he got on the social media particularly video bandwagon at just the right time, and was able to make a name for himself. But his obvious passion for not only his job, but connecting with people, makes this book worth its weight. This book can give you the little extra push you need to execute your idea into a blog and I personally love the approach.

Gary has that magical mix of passion, well earned expertise and tireless enthusiasm and creativity — that not all of us can muster consistently. I think reading Crush It first is a good place to start, and if you enjoy it then most definitely pick up his other books. This is a great book with tons of real examples of what he's talking about and how to execute his advice. Some may not like his hyper-ness, but I think it helps convey his enthusiasm.
He talks about working a lot and hard to get where you want to be, but it's not just working hard that gets you somewhere. He points out key steps and resources as well as the necessity of being authentic. But I'd surely like to talk about one last concept mentioned here which I think everyone should know. Gary Vaynerchuk shares simple lessons and simple rules to success in life, but he shoots ideas and inspiration and logic and honesty with the intensity of a teenager playing paintball. The book was published in multiple languages including English language, consists of 142 pages and is available in Hardcover format. I'm working toward making a brand for myself, but my motivation is not money.

My partner is Gary Vee's die-hard fan, so he made me watch some of the countless youtube videos. If you are going to get this, get the audio book. You need to remove luck and chance from your business equation, and lock in massive success.
Very interesting that of the books I purchased, more than the 5 on the intial list. I devoured the first 4 during the Holiday period -Nov to Dec, and now currently reading the Whuffie Factor. So he recommends that you go and work out what you want to do with your favourite thing or your dream, and just live your passion. Social media is a perfect tool for this! Because social media, new advertising venues, and the Internet have made it possible for you to find other people who share your passion and might even pay you for your knowledge. These feelings - gratitude, compassion, and pride - are easier to generate than the willpower and self-denial that underpin traditional approaches to grit.

There isn't anything negative about this book. I consider myself pretty well informed, but he gave suggestions I'd never thought of and some excellent short cuts. Then one day he turned on a video camera, and by using the secrets revealed in this book, transformed his entire life and earning potential by building his personal brand.
