This book was light on the romance. Reading She Dims the Stars was this book. Overall, a great well written wonderful story! Some truths do more harm than good. For most of the book, Audrey is no shape to start any romance. Johnson is another author that I will drop everything for when she releases a new book.

He had me swooning many times throughout this book and giggling the others. This new adult story has a very serious side to it along with the humor. She completely blew it out of the water. Audrey, Elliot and Cline stole our hearts. She could dim even the brightest of stars if she'd just get out of her head. After reading it you will realize there are more people struggling than you once believed.
Her past, until this point, dictated her present, the unknown and questions burning through her head constantly. Join Audrey and Elliot and Cline as they journey to help Audrey find out about her past. Pushing up on her toes, she speaks into my ear again. I would love to read more about these characters, but I assume their story is finished. This really was a book about friendship and a romance, and I loved both parts. Thank you, Amber, for being brave. The sprinkles of water are doing little to help with the situation.
My hope is that everyone reads it so they can feel the overwhelming gratitude for Amber L. The storyline just didn't click with me. Sometimes so dire, that all could be lost. Yet, while it may be a fun and fast read, I was laughing out loud and reading parts to my mom , it also has its dark side, laden in hurt. She was telling us that she truly saw us.

That is until Elliot our gorgeous lovable geek happened — to be the link that perhaps hastened the inevitable reunion of old friends in order to mend the broken fences with the simplicity of truth. Yes, there is angst, but this was a lot lighter than I expected. Clever, heartfelt, and with just the perfect amount of heat, She Dims the Stars is my favorite book so far by Amber Johnson. . I loved seeing Cline and Aubrey close the gap and how easily he accepted what had driven the wedge between them in the first place.

If you love this one only half as much as I do, it's still going to be a lot of love flowing. For others, I hope it will offer insight into a painful and often debilitating condition. The chemistry between Elliot and Audrey is beautiful and as Audrey grows and learns more about her past, Elliot can't help but fall for her more and more.
